Shipping policy

Every order placed at exclusivitea.ca is hand-picked and packed in Sainte-Julienne. Our staff does their best to make sure your delivery day comes as quickly as possible.

When should I expect my order?

Our processing time typically takes 2-3 business days BUT that number may increase to up to 10 business days in higher volume periods.

A tracking number is assigned by the shipping carrier when your order is processed, and once it is processed, you will receive an email with your tracking information.

On average, shipping times depend on Canada Post and look something like this:

Unfortunately we don’t have control over delivery times once we hand it over. That means if you have concerns about shipping delays, you’ll need to reach out to the carrier directly for any updates. We wish we could magically zap your tea over to your kitchen, directly in your teapot (obviously we can't) but we do make sure we get it out the door quickly.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping on orders over $60. All other shipping prices are determined at checkout.

We currently ship within Canada via Canada Post

How can I track my shipment?

View your order status page at any time for an update on the status, using the tracking number from your email.

My order didn’t arrive. What do I do?

What you can do is check the tracking information you received via email from the carrier. This will let you know where your package is currently located and its estimated (or updated) arrival.

If your order says it was delivered and you can’t find it, please contact the carrier directly.

My order was re-shipped to Exclusivitea. What happens next?

If your order was returned to us, it’s most likely due to an incomplete address, leaving the shipping carrier unable to deliver to your doorstep.

Here are some tips and tricks on how to make sure your order gets to you successfully:

  • Please verify that your address is the one registered with Canada Post.
  • If you live in a building that requires a unit number, please make sure this is included. Please include your unit number before the street address (e.g., 427- 321 Avenue A).
  • If your package is left at your local post office, please retrieve it at your earliest convenience. Most post offices will hold your package for up to 5 business days before returning it to sender.
