Profile: Passionflower has a mild, pleasant, and herbal taste profile with a faint fruitiness similar to a light, delicate green tea.
Latin name: Passiflora incarnata
Herbal Uses: Primarily used as a sedative. Passionflower is a natural, gentle remedy for relaxation, to ease anxiety, and improve sleep quality. In menopause it can reduce frequency and severity of hot flashes, night sweats, and associated mood. It's a mild antispasmodic and analgesic. It can be used as a calming tea, formulated into capsules and tinctures. Blends well with Camomile or Lemon Balm.

100g of Tea or herbs, makes about 30 - 40 cups. (50g = 15-20 cups, 200g = 60-80 cups)
HOT BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil then let cool to desired temperature. Use 0.5 to 2 grams of dried herb for each 1 cup (237ml) of water. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves into the cup or teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-5 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Or 10-15 minutes for more benefits. Covering your tea while steeping will keep beneficial oils in your tea!
