Herbal Tea Type: Stinging Nettle - 100g, 50g

Profile: Nettles have a bright green flavor with a mild peppery bite. The taste is grassy and more vibrant than spinach, rich in minerals. Great as a hot or iced tea. Some may want to pair it with a sweet herb or honey to minimize bitterness. The sting in Nettle is only present in the fresh herb. Nettle is great to toss in soups or stews!

Herbal Uses: Traditionally Nettle has been used to help with arthritis, gout, muscle spasms, joint pain, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, seasonal allergies, hives, bloating and cramping can stimulate milk production in nursing mothers, diabetes and osteoarthritis and urinary tract infections.

Blended and Packed in: Canada 
Caffeine level: Naturally caffeine free
Antioxidant level: Medium/High

100g of Tea or herbs, makes about 30 - 40 cups. (50g = 15-20 cups, 200g = 60-80 cups)

HOT BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Use 1 tsp (2g to 5g) to 1 TBSP (15g) of loose tea for each 1 cup (237ml) of water. Pour the boiling water over the tea leaves into the cup or teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-5 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea). Covering your tea while steeping will keep beneficial oils in your tea!

IDEAL BREWING TEMPERATURE: 50ºC - 60ºC/122ºF - 140ºF for nutrient extraction (Vitamin C  and minerals) or 100ºC/212ºF for best flavor and a strong infusion. For Food Safety reasons, boil water to 100ºC/212ºF and let it cool down to desired temperature.

Although this product does NOT contain gluten, oat and wheat gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, coconut, wheat starch, soy, soy lecithin, our tea was packaged in a facility that may handle these products.
